Rendered beef fat, filtered and cooled until it sets into a soft solid. It was a standard skincare base long before petroleum-derived alternatives, and it melts at close to body temperature.
That is what the face cream is made for — a lighter whip with jojoba so it does not sit heavy. Patch test first, and start with less than you think you need.
The face cream is scented with pure frankincense — resinous, warm, faintly citrus. It is there partly because tallow on its own has a scent most people would rather not wear. No synthetic fragrance is used.
Six to twelve months stored at room temperature, out of direct sun. Scoop with clean, dry hands. Use sparingly — a little goes further than you would expect.
It can soften in a hot mailbox. If it does, it re-sets — the texture may be denser than the original whip. Summer orders ship early in the week.
Glass or PET jars with sealed lids, wrapped and boxed. No plastic filler.
